Fly commercial into Seattle, an hour south of the shop — or private, based on your platform, into one of three local FBOs, the closest 15 minutes from the bench. [Lodging & transport — Outrider package details]
FRIDAYBuild Day.0800, coffee's on. Every component of your future timer is already laid out on the table in front of you — machined and ready for you to lock in your choice: DIVER or FIELD. Stainless or Cerakote. Your dial. Your hands.
Then the watchmaking starts — and it's yours. While you're at the bench, guided by an ARES watchmaker — setting your movement, pressing your hands, seating your stem and crown — your case is getting your specified finish coating. Lunch with the crew, your timer in pieces on the bench behind you. Afternoon: case it, seal it, torque it shut. Pressure test to the same standard every ARES must pass. Sign your own QC card.
Before you leave, they take your Polaroid and staple it to the watchmakers' room wall, where every builder hangs. You take the watch. The shop keeps you.

Your caseback carries a serial from a series reserved for Field Ethos builds. Nobody outside this program will ever hold one.
