Featuring the new ARES DIVER-1 MOD 2 captive bezel design for precise indexing and positive retention, your M-17 DIVER-1 Mission Timer is a custom-made precision timer, manufactured in Stanwood, WA from a combination of a precision Swiss movement and US steel. Utilizing forged, stamped, and finish-machined steel, each M-17 is built individually. Like an armorer in an armory, an ARES watchmaker builds your mission timer each step of the way: 1 watchmaker, 1 watch. From your initial order all the way through to our in-house packaging you'll receive the finest operational performance available in an operational Mission Timer. - Swiss Quartz: ARES currently uses 5-jewel Ronda 715 Lithium-Ion Swiss movements for our quartz Mission Timers, providing exceptional 10-year performance.
M-17 DIVER-1 Case, Caseback, Crown & Captive Bezel
- 316L stainless steel DIVER-1 MOD 2 case, finished in M-17 CERAKOTE
- 41.0mm two piece case with individually serialized, engraved, screwback construction
- 42.0mm Deep Black PVD 4-screw captive bezel, featuring countdown timer with C3 Superluminova, clear coat finish, aggressive ‘no slip’ teeth, and 120-click uni-directional countdown mission timer
- 49.5mm lug to lug 22mm drilled lugs with 1.8mm shoulderless spring bars, supplied with a 3-ring LASH ballistic nylon strap
- 10 o’clock ‘fat head’ 7.2mm logo’d screw down crown, finished in Deep Black PVD and featuring aggressive ‘no slip’ teeth and double Viton seals

All M-17 DIVER Mission Timers are presented in a hand painted, hand stamped and individually serialized "grenade can" containing a custom sewn VS-17A watch roll, featuring 4 slots, two document pockets, and integrated strap tool slot, manufactured exclusively for the M-17 & M-18 Mission Timers by ESSTAC of Stanwood, WA.
The VS-17A watch roll paracord closure is unique to ARES and custom manufactured by Atwood Rope Manufacturing of Millersport, Ohio.
